About the event
This 4-person scramble includes 18 holes, practice balls, on-course contests throughout the round, two beverage tickets per golfer, and a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Complimentary lunch served on the turn, followed by a silent auction. This year’s golf outing proudly supports critical classroom upgrades at Syble Hopp School, including bathroom renovations, improved storage, and new furniture—helping modernize spaces that date back to the school’s original 1971 construction. Located in De Pere, Syble Hopp School was founded in 1971 to serve students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and is named after Syble Hopp, a pioneering educator and 1965 Wisconsin Teacher of the Year whose passion helped shape special education in our region. From its earliest days—when Syble Hopp and Superintendent Joe Donovan went door-to-door to identify children not receiving formal educational services—the school has been rooted in a deep commitment to inclusion that continues today. Event Volunteer
We are seeking volunteers to help run the event and support the cause.
