Syble Hopp School strives to keep all our students healthy and able to attend school. Please refer to the guidelines below for exclusionary criteria when your child is dealing with an illness or medical concern to help determine if they should come to school.
*If your child has a known underlying medical condition that results in diarrhea/vomiting without illness, notify your child’s teacher/nurse for awareness and possible IHP. If your child is not able to engage in learning at school (requires more time in the bathroom than classroom) irregardless of no illness, they should remain home.
If your child has an infection and is receiving treatment/medication from a provider, they should remain home for 24 hours prior to returning to school (e.g. strep, impetigo, ringworm, pink eye) and are feeling well enough to return.
If your child develops a fever, sore throat, unexplained rash, yellow/purulent eye drainage, general discomfort/atypical demeanor preventing them from participating in activities, unexplained vomiting, or two or more episodes of diarrhea at school, you will be called and asked to pick your child up from school.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation in keeping our school a healthy, happy place for our students to learn and grow!
