Lunch Menu

Lunch prices for the 2023-2024 school year will be as follows:

 

  Students:     $3.55 (Full Price)

                       $0.40 (Reduced Price)

   Extra Milk:  $0.30

   Adults:        $4.65

 

If you free that your household may qualify for free or reduced meals, application forms are available online through your parent portal in Infinite Campus (https://www.syblehopp.org/parents/infinite-campus), on the school website (https://www.syblehopp.org/parents/food-service), one will be sent to you by an email before school begins and paper copies are always available in the school office.

 

If your child qualifies for free and reduced price meals this school year, they are also eligible to receive Summer EBT benefits for this upcoming summer.  Summer EBT provides funds for each eligible child to help with costs of food during the summer months.  To learn more about his program visit the Summer EBT page. Lunch for the primary and intermediate students will begin at 11:20 am.  High School students will start at 12:10 pm.  We will be serving a choice of 1% and skim white milk along with skim chocolate milk with each meal.  Whole milk will no longer be served in accordance with DPI unless a physicians authorization is on record stating the need for whole milk.

 

Students are always welcome to bring lunch from home with the option of purchasing milk for $.30.  One milk is included with school lunch, but students do have the ability to purchase extra milks for $.30.  Parents may set up an account for their student who will be purchasing extra milks.

The Brown County CDEB, the National Hot Lunch program and the Syble Hopp School's Wellness Program is concerned about providing students with the best possible nutrition at school.  Proper nutrition is important for both physical and educational development.  Nourishing meals assist students in making the most of their educational opportunities.

Accordingly, it is policy that the sale of foods in minimal nutritional value shall be prohibited throughout the school grounds during designated meal periods.  Foods of minimal value include soft drinks, water ices (ie, popsicles), chewing gum, and certain types of candies (hard candies, jellies and gums, marshmallow candies, fondant, licorice, spun candy and candy coated popcorn).  This prohibition applies to all food sales on school grounds including sales from vending machines.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
